Beauty Favourites

I have a few favourite beauty products to share with you, so lets get to it!

The Beauty Blender
There has been much noise about this product, and after testing it out for
a bit, I must say, it's quite hype worthy. It retails for $26 CAD, but who
really has that much to splurge on a friggin sponge? So I crossed over to
the states and bought it there, which is sold for $19 USD, still quite pricey,
but with its simple maintenance care, I think it'll last me for a while. I use this
with my Nars foundation, and it really makes my skin look flawless, plus its
so simple to use and maintain. I highly recommend it!
Lancome - La Base Pro Primer
Ive tried the sample version of this and I absolutely fell in love with it. Just
a small dab is enough to smear it all over your face, and it is so smooth, it
leaves your skin feeling so soft and velvety. It is oil free so there is no
greasy feeling to it. I apply this right before my foundation which makes
it easier to apply and it leaves my skin looking porcelain.

Lancome Hydra Zen
Ive been testing out this moisturizer and I love it. My skin is on the dry
side so Ill see dry patches even after moisturizing, but not with this. It has
this light yet creamy consistency which makes it easy to smooth out.

Le Crayon Poudre
Since my hair has become lighter, it really did not look good with my grey
eyebrows. So lately Ive been loving and using this eyebrow pencil in taupe.
It's not very waxy like most products, which I personally dislike, and stays
on all day. I love the little spooly thats attached to the end and comes with
convenient caps to protect it from getting dirty.

Nars Sheer Glow - Vallauris
I had a Sephora artist try this/recommend this to me and I absolutely
LOVED it. The tone he picked was perfect and as I started using it, I loved
it even more. I would say that this is medium to full coverage, but then I
cant really compare as Ive only used BB creams, but it conceals very well;
the redness around my nose and uneven skin. I always thought I had an
oily face so I was looking for a matte finish, but looked like I have pretty dry
skin which, with further matte foundations, my skin would just look dead.
I love that it has this sheer glow to it, the name does not lie, making my skin
look more rejuvenated and glowy.

They need to be made with pumps!

Nars - Pressed Powder in Crystal
I never really thought pressed powders were important, and I still think so,
but the Sephora artist sold me on this one and yes, it makes me all beautiful
but I dont think I need it. He advised me to not get setting powders that
had colour, because whats the point of putting an overpriced foundation
if you're going to ruin it with another overpriced coloured pressed powder.
So instead, he introduced me to this one. This product acts as a pressed
powder and a light reflecting sheening thingamajig making me look even
more glowy. As it has no colour, I can use it with any foundation and one
sweep should be good. I am set for life.

Not sure if you can see the sparkles, its not so much glitter, but it is some
sort of it.

Lancome - Blush Subtle
I received this with a huge holiday edition purchase with purchase, but
look! its the full size. Im not sure about the colour but the quality is quite
exquisite. I like blushes that have a bit of a coral tint, these types of pinks
just makes me look like I walked outside for 10 mins in -8 degreee weather.
Anyway, free is always good. Plus I love lancomes packaging.
