2013 In a Nutshell
So long 2013, it was alright, could've been better, but I'm gonna look forward to the future. Happy New Years everyone! I hope you all had a good holiday spending time with friends and family, eating lots of food and receiving lots of love. I think I've come to the age where I see the semi importance of New Years resolutions; to make a goal and stick with it and to sort of plan out your life beforehand. Or to really take the time to reflect on all that's happened and learn from our latest mistakes.
The beginning of my 2013 was undeniably shitty. I was preparing to graduate school without a clue of what I was going to do next, I was heartbroken, broke and unemployed. That soon picked up afterwards near the end of the year, but the transition from one to the other was one hell of a ride. And now, I can finally take a step back, reflect on all that's happened and realize that it all happened for a reason. Thank you 2013, I learned many lessons, acquired new skills and found new happiness.
