Polish Haul
Sorry for the mia-ness!Ive been so busy with work, jewelry, and catching up with friends these days, Ive neglected this whole side of me. This is a mini nail polish haul, finally!! One thing for sure I always need to stock up on is OPI's 'sweetheart,' my go-to colour.
I always wanted to try OPI's 'care to danse?' which I saw on pinterest and absolutely adored it, though, on me, Im not sure if I like it that much. Its a lot more sheer than I thought and kind of has a purple undertone, which I absolutely dislike. I think it would look more beautiful on tanned skin so once im all dark from this summer, I shall see how I really feel about it.
| In this picture it looks quite nice but from a far, it's actually too purple and sheer |
| I also got myself a polish remover dispenser. No more mess and waste! |

Mod About You Dupe
Sometimes 'Fiji' by Essie is way too chalky and white, depending on the time of the year. So I painted a third coat of 'Hopeful' by China Glaze and it toned down the chalkiness recreating a dupe of OPI's 'Mod About You' (which is one of my favourite summer colours!) Mod About You is more wearable and generally suits most skin tones.Labels: mod about you, nails

YSL Faubourg Peach
I have fabulous friends who noticed how sad I was when I lost my other YSL lipstick and got me a new one :D I seriously have the sweetest of friends. This one is called 'Faubourg Peach' which is a nice peachy-nude colour. Peachy and coral colours are definitely more suitable for my skin tone and I am thoroughly loving this one on me.My normal routine for lips is usually covering up the edges with a concealer/bbcream/foundation and then blotting some coral lip tint just in the middle. I find that this gives me the perfect balance as I am not a big fan of bright or very pigmented red or pink shades. I also rarely put on lip gloss since it always sticks to my lips, and I hate that! SO, this YSL lipstick is almost as equivalent to the look of my regular routine.
I have veryyy sensitive lips and most lipstick formulas generally make my lips peel. Ive come to find only two products (so far) that lessen this feature which is Lancome and Tom Ford lipsticks. But nevertheless I love the smell and the colour of this so I will continue loving it.
