Get Your Tan On
This week I wanna share with you 2 of my favourite makeup products!1. Maybelline's Line Stiletto in Black
I've tried various drugstore liners from pencils, liquids and paint pots, but they all seem to have been nothing but big disappointments. SO when I heard itsjudytime rave about this I quickly picked one up. Luckily I got it on sale @Shoppers for $6 (normally ~$9)! It's a felt tip liquid that glides on so easily and fast so when you're in a hurry, this truly is a life saver. It has a triangular shape making any cat-eye or thin lines simple and with ease. It doesnt smudge or crease which I ABSOLUTELY appreciate and its lightweighted-ness makes it easy to carry. I wish I had gotten a waterproof one but until then, this will suffice.
2. Kat Von D High Frequency Mascara in Lucifer
This may be a little premature since I JUST got this, but I really do love it. I love the packaging which is black with white lined roses and has this rubbery grip feel to it making it easy to twist open and close. It has a bit of a weight to it which makes it feel more expensive and high quality. The wand is thin with flexible plastic bristles which help lengthen the lashes and thus will lengthen rather than volumize. And what I love most is that I got it on sale @Sephora for $10 which is a total steal!
And lastly, this week I have on Fiji by Essie. Ive had this on prior to summer however it did not look as great as it does now bc back then I had no tan so it just made my nails look wider and fatter. However now that I have a tan, it contrasts so nicely with my skin making it look so pretty and vibrant. Fiji is one of those colours that will streak since its so chalky but with practise and 3 or so coats of it, it looks quite lovely. ALSO it is important to clean around the nail after every coat so dont neglect cleaning it off the surrounding skin.
