Nail Tips From What I Learned And Witnessed

1. FILE FILE FILE. No matter how pretty the colour is, it just wont look that nice with unshaped nails. Trust, it makes a world of a difference.

2. Apply a Base Coat. It protects your nails from harsh chemicals AND enhances the colour of the polish so dont skip this step!!

3. Fast Dry. You really dont need to buy a quick drying formula! If you're like me and impatient for them to dry, dunk it in ice-cold water for a few sec and it'll harden real fast.

4. Polish Thinners. The trick with these is that you should always apply a few droplets after you use the nail polish; shake it and let it sit/mix/whatever until next time && never thin it out with nail-polish removers, big nono.

5. Storage. Keep them in a cool and dry place.

6. Apply a Top Coat. For that glossy finish and long lasting wear, this is a must! I highly recommend Seche Vite's top coat.

7. Cuticles. Dont cut them just push them, or else its gonna grow out thicker and thicker.

8. Tools. Always sterilize them with alcohol or something..

9. Nail bed. If you have a flat nail bed, applying polishes will make them rounder, all the more reasons to colour them!

10. Hardeners. If you have weak nails or are prone to biting them off, invest in a nail hardener thingamajig and I think you're so supposed to apply it everyday and on the 7th, remove it. I recommend Duri but anything will do.

11. Dont shake the polish. Roll it in between your hands, or else you're gonna get bubbles :/

12. Hmm.. what else...... 'til then, happy pretty nails!
